The evening will start with cocktail hour and family style appetizers. The dinner includes a 3-course meal and then will proceed to dining and white elephant gift exchange and ugly Christmas sweater
competition will follow after.
Anyone who wants to participate in the white elephant gift exchange
should bring a wrapped gift ($20 approximate value).
You won’t want to miss an evening of good food and camaraderie!

REMINDER: To attend the Christmas party at no cost each member must have attended three meetings out of the year. The July Picnic and 2024 Christmas party are considered 1 meeting combined.

Nekolia (Neke) (Swope) Burke
March 21, 1962 ~ March 7, 2024 (age 61)
Nekolia (Neke) Swope Burke, 61, of East Brainerd went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Neke was a 1981 graduate of Tyner High School and was Owner of NewRising Kennel and breeder of numerous AKC Sheltie Champions.
Neke will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and the proud owner of NewRising Kennel.
Her life was a testament to love, faith, and the joy found in family and furry companions. A passionate follower of Jesus, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and a deep connection to those she held dear. May her spirit continue to shine through the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us all.
She was an active member of Silverdale Baptist Church and also attended Cross Culture Church.
Neke was a member of the Chattanooga Kennel Club, the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Georgia, and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Beverly Swope; and her brother, Garnet Swope.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Philip (Phil) Burke; daughter, Chaffin Burke; 2 sons, Taylor and Trevor Burke; sisters, ZeeVonia (Don) Mansell, Chattanooga; and Sebrenia Eaves, Ooltewah; brother, Dr. Korbet (Melanie) Swope, Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Marcia (Zane Jr) Harris, Cleveland; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14th at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Korbet Swope officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Taylor Burke, Trevor Burke, Caleb Swope, Noah Swope, Casey Espy, and Tanner Espy serving as pallbearers.
